Portable
Power Box
The
Power8 Battery Box is a portable rechargeable battery power system
in a weatherproof case. It
can be used at sea or in the field to power devices or equipment
that can’t be plugged into a power source.
They are used to power anything from network equipment such
as wireless routers, notebook computers or anything that can run
off DC power. It can
be configured to provide DC output voltages from 3.3VDC to 48VDC.
The
maximum energy capacity of the system is 584 watt-hours of Li-ion battery
power. The Power8 box
can be configured to provide up to 200 watts of power to your device
with 8 packs installed.
Recharging is accomplished by plugging it into DC power
(9-32VDC), AC power or solar panels and it can be recharged in 3.5
hours. The Power8 system has a usable life of several hundred
discharge and recharge cycles.
The Power8 box is designed so the battery
packs can be reversed in the slots for safe shipping and storage
when the unit is not in use.
