Rechargeable "smart" lithium ion battery packs with integrated Safety electronics, fuel gauge and Voltage, Current and
temperature monitoring circuits. The battery controller module constantly monitors the status of the battery packs and can
report this information to the user via the serial port on the battery controller.
The flying lead battery packs do not require a backplane so the battery pack can be mounted easily in customer
enclosures by providing simple hold-downs for the battery pack.
The BA95HC-FL and BA95HCL-FL battery packs have a cable and latching connector for attaching the battery pack to
the battery controller. This is different from standard Li-ion battery packs since you are not required to implement a
backplane with a connector as is used on notebook computers. |
